Being residents of Riviera Dunes Dockside Social has become a regular stop coming back in from a day on the water, or a short walk along the waterfront after work. We just love the casual atmosphere outside overlooking the marina but there are more formal dining options inside.
Some of our favorites are the Buffalo Eggrolls, Raw Oysters, Shrimp & Grits, Jambalaya, Crab Cakes, Shrimp Tacos, Grouper Sandwich, Grouper Dinner Oscar or Lafayette Style. We've pretty much found everything to our liking though I have to admit to defaulting to the Blackened Grouper Sandwich on most visits.
On this visit I was with my son, visiting from Seattle, and we started with the appetizer platter (egrolls, wings & shrimp).
Jared followed that up with the Cajun Shrimp & Andouille Pasta and I the Blackened Grouper Sandwich.
The Blackened Grouper Sandwich came out as it always does: a healthy portion of fresh, flaky white fish lightly blackened and grilled to perfection! Jared really enjoyed the pasta which had plenty of large shrimp and though he said the heat on the sauce could have been turned up a notch the kick of the andouille more than made up for it.
If you're a local and you haven't hit Dockside Social at Riviera Dunes you're really have been missing it. Great food, friendly service, weekend entertainment and an atmosphere/marina view that just can't be beat... we guarantee your first visit won't be your last!
